A Solemn Assembly to the Lord
I have been recently reading through Leviticus in my devotions and was struck by a passage. In Leviticus 23:1-2 it says, "1 The LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 2 "Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, These are the appointed feasts of the LORD that you shall proclaim as holy convocations; they are my appointed feasts." God actually commanded His people to party, in a "holy" way. Everything was to shut down and they were to enjoy good food, music, each other, and, above all else, reflect on the majesty of their King and His redemptive work. Tonight at CCW office we have the same opportunity, so show up and be ready for a little "holy convocation."

1) There are more documents verifying the life, burial, & resurrection than any work from antiquity. How does this bolster your faith?

3) In what areas of your life is Jesus calling you to abandon being moderate, and instead be extreme?
